This is a genuine Fluval UVC In-Line Clarifier 3w Lamp, designed for use with the Fluval UVC In-Line Clarifier. A Cold Cathode Fluorescent Light (CCFL) runs cooler than a traditional fluorescent bulb. As such, it lasts significantly longer and helps prevent limescale from developing on the quartz tube. Fluval therefore recommend replacing the bulb every 2-3 years.
